One week after Noah was caught skipping school and drinking at the night club, Kyle and Angeletta were enjoying a peaceful night at home. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ef-4Bv5Ng0w

“You play such beautiful Chopin, my dear.”

“It won’t be much longer until my belly is huge so enjoy my music while it lasts,” Angeletta smiled.

“Hopefully our second son won’t be as out of control as our first.”

“Kyle, our son is not out of control. He spends a lot of time out, as do all teenagers.”

“Hmmm, do all teenagers skip school, have woohoo with their girlfriends in public, and get caught clubbing all night?”

“I’m sure he hasn’t done any of those things, my dear. You are just being paranoid.”

“Really? Well maybe the papers are lying and these photos are fake,” Kyle said slamming the paper down on the piano and storming upstairs to Noah’s bedroom.

Angeletta stopped playing and grabbed the newspaper to see a photo of her son drunk and groping with his girlfriend.

When Kyle opened his son’s door he was greeted by a sight no father should have to see.

“Dad, what are you doing?” Noah screamed shocked to see his dad, While Claire screamed and ran into the bathroom.

Kyle walked out and waited for them to get dressed, then when Claire left he gave Noah a piece of his mind.

Screenshot-396

Father and son argued for what felt like hours.

“Your’e grounded and that means no car, computer, phone or Claire! So hand me your phone.”

“I don’t have it, I lost it at the club,” Noah lied.

“Well I am not buying you a new one.” Kyle walked out and as soon as he did Noah slammed the door shut behind him, pulled out his phone and to text Claire.

He is really pissed!

No car, computer

or Claire, how will

I survive?

But Claire didn’t reply.

“I don’t know what to do Angeletta? I’m at my wit’s end with that boy.”

“Why don’t you cool off then sit down and have a talk? I’m sure if you both learn to see the others perspective you will come to an agreement,” Angeletta advised Kyle, kneading the knots in his shoulders.

“You always know how to calm me, Have I told you lately that I love you?”

“Yes but I never tire of hearing it.”

Kyle kissed his wife then headed back upstairs to talk with Noah. When he walked into his room, Noah was in the shower so Kyle looked around his son’s room. Where did he go wrong? He thought he did the right thing in raising his son but it still didn’t work.Kyle looked up at the pictures on his son’s wall. Claire! This all started when Claire came into the picture, Kyle knew that it was time to have a chat with Toni about her daughter.

He caught Toni on her way out to work and luckily she could spare an hour to chat.

Kyle explained the situation he walked in on today and everything else that had been happening lately with their kids. Toni and he agreed on what needed to be done and said their goodbyes.

That night Claire texted Noah back;

URGENT! Meet me

tomorrow at our

place!

“So she is sending me to military school.”

“You’re kidding?”

“Nope, your dad went around to our house yesterday and blabbed about us and she thinks that we need to cool it. Oh and that we are out of control,” Claire mocked.

“That’s not fair! I hate them both.”

“Noah I’m scared.”

Screenshot-476

Noah was taken aback, he never seen Claire scared or heard her admit it. “Don’t worry, they can’t keep us apart.”

“Actually they can and they are. We have no choice, we have to break up.”

Screenshot-479

“Baby please don’t say that.”

“There is no other option, we cannot spend seven years apart and still be together. Please just spend this last night with me and cherish it.

“I will always love you, Claire.”

“And I will always love you, Noah.”

Noah moped around the house for months after Claire left. He never forgave his father for what he did but he loved him and his mother so decided to behave and study hard. He even enrolled himself into after school activities and got a part time job at the corporate tower.

With Noah’s behaviour under control, Angeletta found it easier to relax. She was able to go out to the day spa more often as she felt relief knowing that chaos wasn’t happening at home with her family. That is where she was when she went into labor. Angeletta felt her stomach burning with pain, as she waited for the ambulance to arrive.

“Do you want us to call the father?” One of the EMT’s asked.

“No, he has a concert to perform in twenty minutes and I don’t want to disturb him, this could take hours,” Angeletta joked.

An hour after Angeletta was admitted to the hospital, the nurse had to go against Angeletta’s wishes and call her husband.

Screenshot-541

Kyle raced to the hospital as fast as he could to be there for his wife, he made it just in time for the delivery. But it was no ordinary delivery and Angeletta and Kyle’s baby was ripped away from them as soon as he was born.

Screenshot-542

Three agonising hours later, they were told they could go in and see their baby. Angeletta went in first.

Screenshot-548

She walked over to the crib, where her baby was laying and bent over to see him. She reached out for him and felt his cold skin press against her, his eyes were closed and his body still.

Screenshot-557

Angeletta pulled him into her chest and prayed that he would wake up, that the doctors had it wrong and she would be able to take her baby home with her.

Screenshot-550

But when she pulled him away and looked at him, his body lay still.

Screenshot-562

“I spoke with the doctor and he said he can have a room for you in the general ward tonight,” Kyle said as he walked through the door.

“I was going to call him Micah.” Was all Angeletta could say.

“That’s a great name. Why don’t you go get some rest while I hold little Micah.”

Screenshot-569

Kyle held his son and sobbed as he looked at his tiny porcelain face.

Screenshot-576

“Oh Micah, we would have loved to meet you but I know that you have a wonderful family where you are now. Your Great grandmother Kate will look after you and your Grandpa Ryan and soon we will meet again.” Kyle kissed his son on his forehead and placed him back in his crib.

Screenshot-596

After Micah’s funeral Angeletta refused to get out of bed.

Screenshot-605

When she did decide to emerge it was only to the nursery to cry.

Screenshot-584

And Kyle took solace in drinking. He wasn’t a drunk but a couple of glasses during the day seemed to numb his pain.
